Feb 5th Exhibition - Rugby

The Independent Artists Group will be holding another exhibition from Feb 5th in Rugby this time organised by artist Andrew Douse.
I will be exhibiting two pieces from my Burlesque Backstage series.

April 12th 2008 Ooh La La! Party For Parkinsons

'Ooh La La! Party for Parkinsons' will be a charity burlesque night in aid of the Parkinsons Disease Society on April 12th 2008, my grandfather was a long term sufferer so the event will be held in his honour and will raise awareness during Parkinsons Awareness week and will also (if all goes to plan) raise over £1000 for the Parkinsons Disease Society.

The event will be held at The Test Match pub in West Bridgford (about 2 miles outside Nottingham city centre). The Test Match is a pub with original 1930s art deco features so the theme for the night is going to be loosely 20s/30s. Tickets will be £20 (please email me to be put on the reserve list for when tickets go on sale) Please note there will only be around 50 tickets available!

The plan is to have an exciting and varied line-up with burlesque, variety and musical acts. This will be quite an intimate event which will be entirely seated. We will also be having a raffle and auction for both art and burlesque themed items, all donated by very generous companies and individuals. (Watch this space for the full line up and sponsors list)
